Fireworks are prohibited within the City of Elizabethton without a special permit. The City of Elizabethton will have a fireworks show on July 1 at the Covered Bridge Park. Also, Southside Christian Church on Southside Road will have a fireworks display on July 2. The Elizabethton River Riders will have an Independence Day celebration after their game on July 3 at Northeast Community Credit Union Ball Park.
