A Women’s Self Defense Class will be held July 22 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Elizabethton-Carter County Public Library, 201 N. Sycamore St.
The class will focus on physical self-defense and is limited to 16 participants, ages 16 and older.
Admission is free. You must sign a waiver. Hand cleaner will be provided and masks for anyone that wants them. Wear loose-fitting clothing and no jewelry. We will sweat. Instructor is Bill Perkins, and another volunteer will be available to demonstrate and take falls so you don’t have to.
