Four children injured in Tellico Lake boating accident

Lenoir City – TWRA officers are investigating a Tellico Lake boating accident involving four children on an inner tube that were struck by another boat on Wednesday afternoon.
The incident occurred around 1:00 p.m. near Wind River Marina, where four children onboard an inner tube being pulled behind a boat were struck by another boat. Three of the children have been taken to the University of Tennessee Medical Center with serious injuries.
The incident remains under investigation by TWRA.
