This Saturday’s Covered Bridge Jams Concert will feature the group From the Edge.
“We are very excited to have this awesome local group with us this Saturday night,” stated Recreation Manager David Nanney.
“From the Edge” is a new and fresh rock ‘n’ roll cover band with members from East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia, playing all types of venues from pubs and parties to weddings and festivals! Providing an electric mix of Southern Rock and Country to your favorite oldies, the band will serve up music you will absolutely enjoy.
The band’s Influences include Journey, Fleetwood Mac, Prince, ’80s hair bands, The Eagles, The Pretenders, Bryan Adams and lots and lots of your preferred ’80s music.
Elizabethton Parks and Recreation is proud to bring you this free concert series along with our sponsors, Elizabethton/Carter County Chamber of Commerce, Carter County Tourism, Northeast Community Credit Union, Carter County Parks and Recreation Board, Elizabethton Star, Eastman Credit Union and WBEJ Radio.
“Come on down to Covered Bridge Park Saturday at 7 p.m. Bring your lawn chair and sit back and enjoy a fantastic free concert,” Nanney said.
