Sycamore Shoals State Park will host a Gardening Seminar Series beginning Saturday, Aug. 5, in the community room. The seminar is free to the public and will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. with Master Gardener Ben Hunter.
The subject of the seminar will be a review of summer gardens – what went right and what went wrong. There will also be discussion on planting fall gardens as any kind of vegetable is better than weeds. Also, there will be discussion and instruction on pruning blackberries, blueberries, fruit trees, and renovation of strawberries.
