JONESBOROUGH – A three-month investigation by Washington County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division and Homeland Security Investigations led to the arrest of William Keith Hensley, 56, Gray.

According to Sheriff Keith Sexton, deputies charged Hensley with sexual exploitation of a minor after discovering 3,101 still images and multiple videos of child sexual abuse material seized off multiple electronic devices found in his residence. Sexual exploitation of a minor is a Class B Felony for possessing more than 100 images of material that includes a minor engaged in sexual activity or simulated sexual activity.

Hensley was located by deputies and subsequently arrested in Gray on July 26, and transported to the Washington County Detention Center without incident. His bond is currently set at $50,000. A court date is pending.
