Zion Baptist
Zion Baptist Church, Gap Creek, will host the first annual Blue Ridge Jubilee August 13-18 with services each evening at 7 o’clock.
Guest speakers will be Dr. Ralph Sexton, Dr. Joe Arthur, Dr. Kenny Baldwin, Evangelist Billy Sampson, Evangelist Brent Carr, and Pastor CT Townsend.
There will be special singing and a jubilee choir.

Lynn Valley Baptist
Lynn Valley Baptist Church, 1367 Broad Street Ext.. will begin a Grief Share Support Group Aug. 15. Sessions will continue weekly through Nov. 14. The session on Aug. 15 will be from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The group will meet weekly on Tuesday for 14 weeks.
This Christ-centered program helps people apply Biblical principles as they deal with the emotions and life stresses following the death of a loved one.

First Christian
First Christian Church, Elizabethton, has worship at 9:45 a.m. Sunday. The current sermon series is titled “Out of the Mouth of Babes,” and each week features a question that came from one of the children in the church’s Children’s Ministry.
Bible study is at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Meditation is Wednesday at 7 p.m., and Adult Forum is Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in Martin Hall.
