Frederick Canonizado has been convicted after a jury trial in Washington County of theft of property over $10,000, but less than $60,000. Scott Shults, Assistant District Attorney for the First Judicial District, was prosecutor in the case.
Canonizado will be sentenced on Oct. 7 in Washington County Criminal Court. He could face six to 10 years in prison.
