Waddle convicted of weapons charge

Bobby J. Waddle was convicted earlier this month after a jury trial of unlawful possession of a weapon by a violent felon as a result of an arrest by the Washington County Sheriff’s Department Patrol Division.
Scott Shults, Assistant District Attorney for the First Judicial District Attorney’s Office, prosecuted the case.
Waddle will be sentenced in Washington County Criminal Court Oct. 6. He could be sentenced up to 30 years at 85 percent.
