Jeff Randal Andrews, 55, Elizabethton, went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at his residence. He was born April 26, 1968 in Sullivan County.
Jeff was a 1986 graduate of Elizabethton High School, a 1990 graduate of Carson-Newman College, and a 1995 graduate of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity and a Master’s Degree in Arts Education.
Jeff was a teacher and was a member and deacon of Oak Street Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Eleanor Eastes Andrews, who passed away October 16, 2022; a sister, Julia Andrews; a brother, Earl Alvin Andrews; his maternal grandparents, Earl and Ona Eastes, Brush Creek, Tenn.; his paternal grandparents, Alvin G. and Sarah Andrews of the Elk Mills Community; and many aunts and uncles.

Survivors include his father, Will Andrews; one sister, Joy (Kenneth) Fields, Johnson City; two brothers, James (Ann) Andrews and John (Shonda) Andrews, all of Elizabethton; 10 nieces and nephews and nine great-nieces and great-nephews.

A Service to Celebrate the Life of Jeff will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday, August 18, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Joe Ledford and Dr. Chris Shumate officiating. Music will be provided by the Celestial City Quartet. The graveside service and interment will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 19, at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be John Andrews, Kenneth Fields, Brandon Burkhart, Logan Burkhart, Elijah Andrews and Jeffrey Bowers. Honorary pallbearers will be Thomas Isaacs, James Andrews, McKinley and Kayla Berry, Jamie Andrews and Dylin Shelton, Matthew and Rachael Waltrop, Matthew Crawford, Mark Crawford, Avril Andrews, Cesar Santiaga and his church family. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 9:20 a.m. Saturday to go in procession to the cemetery.
