Milligan President Dr. Bill Greer joined faculty and staff to paint during Milligan University’s annual campus workday Saturday before students return to campus. This year’s workday highlighted various construction and improvement projects completed or initiated this summer. A new gym floor has been installed in the Steve Lacy Fieldhouse, locker rooms and the Buffalo Room have been renovated. Milligan will soon install artificial turf to the baseball and softball infields, thanks to a generous donation from baseball alumnus John McKamey. Renovations have also been made to some of Milligan’s residence halls, academic buildings and athletics facilities, including multiple roofing, painting, and carpeting projects. Also, Emmanuel Hill’s parking lots have been expanded and are scheduled to be paved to provide greater access to the University’s seminary, physician assistant studies program, and engineering programs. Move-in day for new students at Milligan is Saturday, Aug. 19, with classes beginning Tuesday, Aug. 22.
