The night couldn’t have ended any better than what it did on Saturday evening as after a heavy downpour of rain around the time gates were about to open to the Jordan Feliz and Casting Crowns concert being held at Citizens Bank Stadium as part of the Tweetsie Trail Jams concert series, the skies gave way to a gorgeous sunset and cool temperatures as 5,000 concert goers came to hear the chart-topping acts.
Feliz took the stage first and got the crowd warmed up for Casting Crowns which would close out the evening’s concert. Fans were thrilled that the artists had came to Elizabethton and were even more delighted when the 2024 act was announced as Toby Mac will be coming to the stadium on Saturday, August 10, 2024.
The impact of the concert can’t be measured throughout the city as concertgoers from as far away as South Africa and Australia came to the show along with people from at least 16 different states were also present.
Granny’s Fireworks closed out the night with a great fireworks display as the large crowd managed to depart the stadium and parking lots within a 35 minute timespan.
Social media was flooded with responses after the concert as concert attendees were overwhelmed by the evening of music they had just listened to.
