The 1973 Graduating Class of Elizabethton High School recently enjoyed a 50th anniversary reunion the weekend of July 21 and 22. The Friday evening get-together was held at the Black Olive, and on Saturday morning there was a light breakfast and tour of the old Elizabethton High School now T. A. Dugger Junior High. The Class of 1973 was the last one to graduate from this building before the school was moved to its current location on Jason Witten Way. A concluding dinner was held at the Carnegie Hotel on Saturday evening with a remembrance of deceased classmates at a special video presentation of old photos and early 1970s music on a trip down memory lane.
