Traveling extensively throughout the U.S., she returned home in 1973 to continue raising her family. Shirl enjoyed working at ETSU for 30 years. She was a member of VFW Post 2108 and supported the Ladies Auxiliary.
Shirl lived life to the fullest, sharing her positive light with every person and creature who crossed her path. Her faith for her Lord Jesus and her love for her family knew no bounds. Our sweet Nannie will be missed and never forgotten.
