The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Bristol will host the 2023 Tri-Cities 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb which will be held at Bristol Motor Speedway.
The Memorial Climb is a way to honor and remember the FDNY firefighters who selflessly gave their lives so others might live on 9-11-2001.
Each participant pays tribute to an FDNY firefighter by climbing the equivalent of the 110 stories of the World Trade Center. The tribute not only remembers the sacrifice of a firefighter, but symbolically completes their heroic journey to save others. “Through firefighter and community participation, those who take part in the Memorial Stair Climb can ensure that each of the 343 firefighters is honored and the world knows that we will never forget,” organizers of the event said.
Stair Climb Packets can be picked up Thursday, Sept. 7, at 4 p.m.
