ETSU Health Internal Medicine – Kingsport is pleased to welcome Dr. Krishna Pulivarthi to the practice. Dr. Pulivarthi joins ETSU Health with a passion for the needs of rural communities and for getting to know his patients and their families.

Dr. Pulivarthi dedicates himself to treating others as he would want to be treated. He also values guiding his patients to the best treatment options without significant financial burden.

“If you are looking for a doctor who can treat your acute and chronic medical problems along with patient-specific preventive care based on an evidence-based approach in a timely fashion, I will be available for you with compassion and empathy,” Dr. Pulivarthi said.

He looks forward to the opportunity to train well-rounded and compassionate next-generation physicians to serve the community through his role as a faculty member at ETSU’s Quillen College of Medicine.

Dr. Pulivarthi completed his internal medicine residency at Creighton University School of Medicine in Phoenix, Arizona. He is a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians.
