Rosalee Dale Grindstaff Oaks

Rosalee Dale Grindstaff Oaks, 73, of Elizabethton, Tenn., went home to be with her Lord surrounded by her children and grandchildren on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at Johnson City Medical Center.
Rosalee was born in Elizabethton to the late John Nolan Grindstaff and Effie Nora Grindstaff. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Terry Oaks, in January of 2023, and her brother, Henry Grindstaff.
Rosalee had been employed as a secretary and was a member of Stoney Creek Baptist Church. She enjoyed cross stitching and making quilts. She helped in her church and helped wherever she was needed at the church.
Rosalee leaves behind to cherish her memory two children, Amanda (Mike) Little and Ryan (Sarah) Oaks; her grandchildren, Destiny Little, TJ Little, Emily Little, Nathaniel Oaks, Nicole Oaks, Sean Clawson, Mackinze and Makenzie Oaks and Camdan, Oliver and Noah; her very special best friends, Ruby Corder and Roberta Campbell; and her lifelong friends, Jimmy Hyder and Richard Lewis.
It was Rosalee’s wish to be cremated and no formal services are currently scheduled. Friends and family may visit the home of her daughter to pay their respects.
