JOHNSON CITY – The group known as the “Rolls-Royce of a cappella ensembles” is coming to the Appalachian Highlands. 
VOCES8, a 2023 Grammy-nominated British vocal ensemble, performs at the East Tennessee State University Martin Center for the Arts on Wednesday, Oct. 18, at 7:30 p.m.  
“This is an exceptional opportunity for the community to come and hear an incredibly talented choral group,” said Dr. Alan Stevens, chair of the Department of Music. “When it comes to a cappella ensembles, VOCES8 is one of the best in the world.” 
The group tours globally, performing an extensive repertoire. The music is versatile and a celebration of diverse musical expression.
