The Elizabethton/Carter County Chamber of Commerce will host a community bike ride as part of their Ride Into Fall bike series on Saturday, Oct. 7. A Tweetsie Trail ride is perfectly suited for the whole family.
The group will depart from the Johnson City trailhead and make the mostly downhill trip toward Elizabethton. A free shuttle to the Johnson City trailhead will depart from the Lions Field parking area in Elizabethton at 10 a.m. and drop off riders for a start time of 10:30 a.m. This ride will be approximately 4 miles from the Johnson City trailhead, located at 116 Van Brocklin Way, to the Lions Field parking area. Once returning to the parking area, riders will be treated to free snacks and discount cards to be redeemed at Riverside Taphouse in Downtown Elizabethton!
