To the Editor:
The news said Israel has been attacked by Hamas in a surprise attack and immediately declares war. We don’t know for sure if it was a surprise attack because Pearl Harbor was called a surprise attack when it wasn’t. Some say the Hamas attack was allowed to be a surprise attack to help bring unity to the country. Sadly we do know the Muslim attack was tragic and evil causing at least 700 deaths and over 2000 injuries in Israel. The numbers continue to rise. At least four Americans were among the dead. Over 100 civilians and soldiers are being held hostage.
Pray for God’s intervention, guidance and wisdom for Israel, and comfort for the grieving in the midst of heartbreak and loss. Pray that all captives are set free, and God’s comfort and peace for those suffering loss and for all Israel until her perfect peace (Jesus) comes to reign and rule forever!
The U.S. has been the biggest supporter of Israel up until Obama and Biden. Obama and Biden helped bring Israel division and supported protest and gave billions to Israel’s enemies. The division that the far left against the far right has portrayed Israel as being weak to the Muslims. The Muslims may have sensed this weakness. The Muslims also disrespect other religions and like to attack on other’s most holy religious days. They have attacked Israel and Christians on holy religious days. Muslims have attacked Christians on Easter and Christmas Day.
Giving land for peace will never work because all that happens in Israel is a spiritual war. If Israel is allowed to exist and the third temple to be rebuilt and Jerusalem to be the capital once more approved by almighty God of Heaven then Allah and Islam are false and Mohammed isn’t the last and greatest prophet. Millions of Muslims will fight to the death to kill all Jews. Muslim leaders say first, kill all Jews then the Christians. As Psalms 83 says, “They (Muslims) have said, Come and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name Israel may be no more in remembrance.”
The nation of Israel is unique among all nations because it’s based on an everlasting covenant with God almighty. The rebirth of the nation of Israel is unique among all nations in world history. Israel exists against all odds. The most obvious proof God wrote the Bible is the Jews and the nation of Israel. The Bible predicted their exile from the land and return just prior to the second coming of King Jesus.(Amos 9:14-15; Isaiah 11:11; Ezekiel 20:34) There’s no nation that was out of existence for 1,900 years and came back. They even have the same capital (Jerusalem) and speak Hebrew which was an extinct language. The Bible in Zechariah 12 says God will destroy all nations that come against Jerusalem. Hundreds of Bible verses say Jerusalem and Israel belong to the Jews. Even the Muslim Koran claims Israel belongs to the Jews says Professor Nissin Dana. Koran 7:7, says God bequeaths the land of Israel to the Jews. The Bible says God will send judgment on nations that try to divide the land He gave to Israel. Genesis 12:3 says, “I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you.” Obadiah 12: 3 says, “For the day of the Lord is near upon the heathen; as thou hast done (to Israel) it shall return upon your own head.” Afghanistan said they wanted to destroy Israel and may have sold American weapons to Hamas to use against Israel. On the day Hamas attacked Israel, Afghanistan received two 6.3 earthquakes killing over 2,445. Israel attacked and is at war for the first time in 50 years, which is a big end-time sign. We can see the day approaching of the return of Jesus. To God, Jerusalem is the most holy city. The Bible tells us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem which is in effect praying for the return of Jesus because there will be no peace until Jesus returns. Jesus returns with Christians after the seven year tribulation to rule 1,000 years from Jerusalem, not from America. Don’t be stressed about Israel’s survival but be justifiably concerned about America’s! May the Holy God of Israel bless and protect you! You can be blessed with eternal life if you make an everlasting covenant with God by trusting His son Jesus as your only Savior. Don’t delay in trusting King Jesus as your Savior, as God’s prophetic plan is accelerating, and time is running out!
