A new endocrinologist is joining the team of specialists at ETSU Health Internal Medicine – Kingsport. Dr. Rabindra Lamichhane will offer evidence-based medical advice to patients seeking help for glandular issues such as adrenal problems, diabetic care, thyroid issues, and polycystic ovarian syndrome.
Dr. Lamichhane’s passion for healing began at an early age and continues today through a desire to offer individualized plans to address each patient’s medical needs.
“I have broad experience in managing a very diverse patient population with various endocrine medical conditions,” Dr. Lamichhane said. “I have taken care of patients from different social and financial backgrounds. I think it has honed my ability to address patient issues in an individualized manner.”
Dr. Lamichhane joined ETSU Health as a place to flourish professionally. He also valued the natural beauty of the area, which made him feel at peace and at home. Outside of his career, he loves soccer and enjoys outdoor activities, exploring new places, and watching movies.
Dr. Lamichhane completed his internal medicine residency at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey. He completed his endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism fellowship at University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Ohio.
