• Saturday, November 11
Hampton and Watauga Lodges will have their annual Thanksgiving Dinner on Saturday, Nov. 11, from 5 to 7 p.m. The dinner will include turkey or ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, coleslaw, rolls, dessert and drink for an $8 donation for the lodges. Carryout is also available. Everyone is welcome to come out and enjoy a great meal.
A state certified training class will be held at 135 Keenburg Road, Elizabethton, starting at 8:30 a.m. State Certified Trainer Kenneth R. Potter will be instructing the class which will feature Unarmed/Armed Guard along with Active Shooter. Potter holds multiple certifications including Firearms through Commerce and Insurance.
