The Green Pastures Group of Alcoholics Anonymous will meet at 8 p.m. at 411 East Elk Ave., Elizabethton.

• Monday, November 27
The Elizabethton Choral Club will present a Christmas concert at 6 p.m. in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church, Elizabethton. The 30-voice choir will present a variety of Christmas carols and songs to celebrate the holiday. The community choir is directed by Debbie Gouge with Susan Heaton as accompanist. The public is invited.

• Saturday, December 2
Boozy Creek Community Center, 1989 Shelleys Road, Bristol, Va., (276-466-0026) will hold a Fish and Chicken Meal at 4 p.m. Music will be provided by the McMurray Boys from 5 to 6:30 p.m. The food and entertainment for the annual Thanksgiving meal was wonderful. The large attendance was special as folks enjoyed an evening together with friends and family. Come early and enjoy an evening with friends at Boozy Creek. Door prizes will be given away at 4:45 p.m. by Cathy Baker. For more information, call (423) 323-5266.
