BANNER ELK, N.C. – The New Opportunity School for Women (NOSW) at Lees-McRae College is hosting its annual Holiday Open House in honor of and in thanks to all community partners that support the program. This year’s Holiday Open House will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 12, in King-Shivell Lounge in the Cannon Student Center. Attendees are invited to drop in that afternoon from 1 to 5 p.m.
The mission of NOSW is to improve the educational, financial, and personal circumstances of low-income women in the Southern Appalachian region. This Holiday Open House is hosted in celebration of another successful year for the program and to thank the members of the campus and local community who have supported NOSW and contributed to its success.
