A number of holiday events are planned in the coming days by the ETSU Arts Department. Among them is a holiday concert by the ETSU Jazz Ensemble on Dec. 8 at 7:30 p.m. in Martin Center for the Arts Grand Hall. The ensemble will present some jazzy favorite holiday songs.
Tickets can be purchased the evening of the performance.
On Dec. 9, a Sounds of the Season recital by Bucky’s Own Brass Quintet, a student-led chamber ensemble, will be presented at 7:30 p.m. in the Martin Center’s Powell Recital Hall.
Other events include “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” a holiday concert by the Johnson City Symphony Orchestra, and will take place at the Martin Center on Dec. 9 at 7:30 p.m.
Country Music Hall of Fame member Ricky Skaggs and his band Kentucky Thunder along with special guests will perform a Christmas show on Dec. 13 at 7:30 p.m. in the Martin Center.
