Northeast State holds fall graduation commencement Dec. 15

Northeast State Community College celebrates a new class of graduates at the fall commencement ceremony scheduled Friday, Dec. 15, at the Ballad Health Center for Performing Arts Theatre on the College’s Blountville campus.

Northeast State will recognize graduates from the College’s six academic divisions in four ceremonies held throughout the day. Graduates are recognized from their respective divisions during the following times:

Division of Behavioral & Social Sciences – 9 a.m.
Divisions of Health Professions and Science – 11 a.m.
Divisions of Humanities and Mathematics – 1 p.m.
Division of Technologies – 3 p.m.

The fall graduating class totals 532 students receiving 675 associate degrees and technical certificates. Northeast State will award 4 academic certificates; 236 technical certificates; 176 associate of applied science degrees; 16 associate of arts degrees; 9 associate of science in teaching degrees, and 234 associate of science degrees.
