‘Old Soul New Stories’ film premiere set for Jan. 19

Main Street Elizabethton invites you to a film premiere to launch the new downtown tagline, “Old Soul New Stories” on Friday, Jan. 19! Enjoy an elevated evening at the Bonnie Kate Theater to experience the heart, soul, and stories of the Elizabethton community. This 45-minute film captures seven local stories that showcase the love for downtown and the people who make it special.

“We are thrilled to introduce the new downtown tagline, “Old Soul New Stories,” because it captures the true essence of our downtown. Downtown Elizabethton is more than just a place, it’s a familiar feeling that you can connect to. Through that connection there is opportunity for new adventures and memories to be made. “Old Soul New Stories” highlights the blend of preserving our rich heritage while embracing the prospects of the future. We are excited to launch “Old Soul New Stories” through a film that portrays this balance, ” says Courtney Bean, Main Street Director.

The evening will be emceed by local celebrity, Josh Smith. One ticket is $20 and includes photography on the red carpet and complimentary hors d’oeuvres. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase. The dress code is cocktail attire. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the curtain goes up at 7:30 p.m.
