The weather forecast calls for cold temperatures and snow next week…a good time to build a snowman (if there is enough snow).
If you don’t want to get out in the cold and snow, you can stay inside and paint a snowman at a paint workshop planned Tuesday, Jan. 16 and 23, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Simple Blessings General Store at 508 E. Elk Ave. Participants will be guided through painting a New Year Snowman on a 16×20 inch canvas with acrylic paints.
The cost is adults, 13 plus, $30, and kids, 12 and under, $15. Must be prepaid in order for there to be ample seating and supplies.
The January 16 event is sold out, but there is room in the January 23 sessions.
