Two new officers join ranks of Elizabethton PD

The City of Elizabethton is pleased to welcome two new officers to the Elizabethton Police Department as Mitchell Tolley and Eric Norman were sworn in on January 2 at the Elizabethton City Hall.
City Clerk Preston Cobb presided over the swearing-in ceremony.
Tolley joins the department as an entry level officer as he was recently hired from the application and testing process.
Norman will join the department as part of the lateral hiring program. He will begin with the rank of Corporal.
“I am very happy to have them join our team,” said Police Chief Jason Shaw.
