August Muse is thrilled to announce the art opening of Marcia Ross, a local retired art teacher who has dedicated her life to creating beautiful and meaningful artwork. The event will take place on February 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. at August Muse, located at 518 East Elk Ave., Elizabethton.
Marcia Ross is an accomplished artist with a passion for oil painting, printmaking, pottery, watercolor, and painting theater sets and murals. Her artwork showcases the beauty and vibrancy of the Maasai people, inspired by her time spent as a missionary in Kenya. Through her art, she brings to life the rich culture and stories of the Maasai people, creating a visual narrative that captivates viewers.
This art opening is a celebration of Ross’s talent and dedication to her craft. It is an opportunity for the community to come together and appreciate the beauty and significance of her artwork.
