The Carter County Democratic Women will meet Tuesday, Jan. 23, at 6 p.m. at the Black Olive in Elizabethton.
The group will discuss issues of importance to members and strategies for political education and support of candidates. Members are asked to bring their ideas. Dinner will precede the meeting.
The club’s work is to raise the visibility of Democrats, offer political education, and support local organizations that address human needs in the local community. Men as well as women are invited to participate.
