The Elizabethton Choral Club begins rehearsals for the spring season at 7 p.m. at Elizabethton’s First Baptist Church choir room. Interested singers are encouraged to attend.
TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) will meet at First Baptist Church, 212 East F St., Elizabethton. Weigh-in begins at 5:30-6:30 p.m. with the meeting starting at 6:45 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend these meetings. Boozy Creek Community Center, 1989 Shelleys Road, Bristol, Va., will hold a Fish and Chicken Meal at 4 p.m. The meal will be served with lots of delicious sides, a large variety of homemade desserts, and drinks. Music will be provided by “Harlan Country Grass” from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Cathy Baker will be giving away door prizes at 4:45 p.m. A large attendance is expected, so come early.
