Wes McElravy and his wife, Heidi, have been called as minister of the Blue Springs Christian Church.
McElravy and Heidi moved back to East Tennessee from Millersburg, Ohio, where he was the lead minister of Millersburg Christian Church for 10-1/2 years. He graduated from Milligan College in 1990 and Johnson Bible College in 1999.
McElravy has served at First Christian Church in Johnson City; First Christian Church in Greeneville; Howard Christian Church in Howard, Pa.; Colonial Heights Christian Church in Kingsport; and Millersburg Christian Church in Millersburg, Ohio.
The couple has six children and 13 grandchildren, most of whom live in the East Tennessee area.
Wes and Heidi feel that God has given them a burden for Blue Springs Christian and look forward to a fruitful ministry at the church.
Blue Springs Christian is located at 107 Don Rominger Road, just off the Blue Springs Road.
Everyone is invited to attend the services at the church or via livestream on the church website.
