Timothy Wayne VanDyke, 59, of Johnson City, passed away unexpectedly on January 26, 2024, at Johnson City Medical Center. He was born in Carter County to the late Pete VanDyke and Nanette Bowman VanDyke.
Timothy was a lifelong member of First Christian Church of Elizabethton and he loved the Lord.
Timothy loved his family. He had worked as a carpenter. He enjoyed life, especially fishing, cooking, camping, and watching movies.
Those left to cherish his memory are his fiancé, the love of his life, Sandra White; two daughters, Amber Dawn Meredith and Rachel Branch; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and three more on the way; a sister, Lisa Lacey (Darrell); a brother, Danny VanDyke; his lifelong best friend, Mike Williams; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members who will miss him
