Harris has a wealth of experience in financial strategy and healthcare management and is poised to steer Frontier Health through a new era of innovation and growth. His proven track record and deep commitment to healthcare excellence align perfectly with Frontier Health’s mission and vision.

Harris joins Frontier Health with a distinguished 22-year tenure at Ballad Health, culminating in his role as Director of Finance for Ballad Health Medical Associates. His career, which has been dedicated to financial leadership since 2007, is marked by significant accomplishments, including his service as the CFO for Smyth County Community Hospital and Director of Finance for Ballad Corporate. Beyond healthcare finance, Harris’ expertise extends to management consulting and auditing, focusing on financial analysis, budgeting, and fostering high-performing teams. An alumnus of Radford University, he earned his bachelor’s degree in 1994 and furthered his education with an MBA from Virginia Tech in 1997. As a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and a Certified Healthcare Financial Professional, Harris’ commitment to excellence in healthcare finance is evident in his impressive career trajectory and dedication to advancing financial strategies within the healthcare sector.
