Northeast State hosts Spring Career Fair on March 14

Northeast State Community College welcomes one and all to the Spring Career Fair scheduled for Thursday, March 14, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the Ballad Health Center for the Performing Arts on the Blountville campus next to Tri-Cities Airport.

Sponsored by the College’s Career and Workforce Development Center, students and the public are welcome to attend the Spring Career Fair. Attendees will have an opportunity to explore careers, network with area business representatives, and learn about job openings in a variety of career fields.

“Our Spring Career Fair is an excellent opportunity for students and job seekers to connect directly with employers that are hiring,” said Mary Beth Oxendine Woodby, Director of the Career and Workforce Development Center.

The College’s Career and Workforce Development Center expects to host more than 75 employers at the event. Employers attending the career fair will represent a wide variety of companies from around the region. Representatives from industry and business sectors including manufacturing, healthcare, finance, information technology, insurance, education, retail, and food service will be in attendance.

Attendees can also update his or her profile photo on social media. A professional photographer welcomes students to get a professional and FREE photo at the LinkedIn photo booth at the event.
