Preschoolers at First United Methodist Preschool in Elizabethton showcased their compassionate spirits during Kindness Week, observed from February 19th to 23rd.

Under the guidance of teachers Mrs. Cassie Franklin and Mrs. Cindy Croy, the preschool classes engaged in various acts of kindness throughout the week. One notable initiative involved collecting donations for the community Blessing Box located outside the church.

The children actively participated in gathering items for the Blessing Box and took pride in filling it with essentials. They concluded their charitable efforts by offering prayers over the donated items, expressing their desire to bless those who would benefit from them.

“Kindness is free, Pass it on,” remarked one of the teachers, encapsulating the spirit of the week-long endeavor.
