The Charles C. Sherrod Library at East Tennessee State University was filled with the smells of coffee and donuts as members of the campus community gathered to celebrate the grand opening of the university’s newest dining option, Dunkin’.

ETSU President Dr. Brian Noland, Vice President for Student Life and Enrollment Dr. Joe Sherlin and Student Government Association President Trent White led the festivities by welcoming the crowd and cutting the ribbon, declaring the new on-campus dining option as officially open.

Members of the SGA, students, faculty and staff attended the celebration, enjoying refreshments, music and photo opportunities with Bucky.

Noland spoke about the impact that the SGA leadership team has on ETSU’s campus.

“Students plant seeds that may not have the opportunity to come to fruition until long after their graduation,” said Noland. “But, when those opportunities and initiatives come to fruition, they benefit future generations of students. That is what is happening here today.”

White explained that the addition of Dunkin’ is “more than just a caffeine-infused celebration; it’s a tangible reflection of our university’s continuous commitment to growth and enhancement.”

The new location on the first floor of the Sherrod Library features a full menu of Dunkin’ classics and new favorites, including hot and iced coffee, teas and refreshers, donuts, muffins, sandwiches and more.

In addition to Dunkin’, ETSU offers an array of dining options. For a list of locations and operating hours, visit www.etsu.sodexomyway.com/dining-near-me.
