Willow Springs

The Willow Springs Baptist Church Choir will present the Easter cantata “Amazing Love How Can It Be?” at the 11 a.m. worship service Sunday.

There will be no evening service.

First Presbyterian

First Presbyterian Church Elizabethton will have both a live and online worship service Sunday at the 11 a.m. service.

The pastor, the Rev. Dr. Brian Wyatt, will present the sermon “Modern Day Miracles” based on Mark 16: 1-8.

Easter worship will feature a number of musical selections featuring soloists, the chancel choir, and handbells and will conclude with communion.

Dr. David Roane will lead Adult Forum discussion at 9:45 a.m. in Martin Hall.

Everyone is invited to the services.

First Presbyterian is located at 119 West F St.

 

First Christian

Easter Sunday services at First Christian Church, Elizabethton, will include a sunrise service at 8:30 a.m. followed by a light breakfast at 9 a.m. An Easter Egg Hunt for the children will be at 9:30 a.m.

The Easter Sunday service will be at 10 a.m.

First Christian has a food pantry. Families who need a food box can call the church office at 542-5651 for an appointment.

First Christian is located at 513 Hattie Ave.

New Liberty Free Will

A sunrise service will be held Easter Sunday morning at 7 a.m. at New Liberty Free Will Baptist Church, followed by Sunday School at 10 a.m. and morning worship at 11 a.m.

The pastor, the Rev. Wesley Duncan, invites everyone to attend the Easter services celebrating the resurrection of Jesus.

New Liberty is located at 113 Peters Hollow Road near the Stoney Creek Volunteer Fire Dept.

 

Blue Springs Christian

An Easter sunrise service and breakfast will be held at Blue Springs Christian Church at 7 a.m. Sunday. The Easter Sunday service will be at 10:45 a.m.

The church is located at 107 Don Rominger Road, Elizabethton.

Wes McElravy is minister.

 

Grace Baptist

Grace Baptist Church will have a sunrise service at 7 a.m. Sunday at the Wilbur Dam Boat Ramp, followed by Sunday School at 9 a.m. at the church and the worship service at 10 a.m.

Grace Baptist is located at 1114 Broad St.

The Rev. Travis Tyler is pastor.

 

Borderview Christian

Borderview Christian Church will have a community Easter Egg Hunt and cakewalk for children from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday.

The Easter Sunday service will be at 10:45 a.m. Sunday, and will feature the adult choir musical “Champion of Love” by Russell Mauldin.

The public is invited to attend.

Scott Fisher is the senior minister and Kathy Thompson is the children’s director.

 

First United Methodist

First United Methodist Church, Elizabethton, will have a sunrise service Sunday at 7 a.m. followed by a worship service at 10 a.m.

The church is located at 325 East E St.

The Rev. Robert Countiss is pastor.

 

E’ton Church of Christ

A Gospel meeting will be held at the Elizabethton Church of Christ April 7-11.

Services on Sunday, April 7, will include Sunday School at 10 a.m., worship at 11 a.m. and evening worship at 6:30 p.m.

Services Monday through Thursday will be at 7 p.m. and will feature guest speaker Steve Higginbotham.

The church is located at 137 East C St.

 

Hopson Chapel

The Jones Family will sing at Hopson Chapel Freewill Baptist Church on Sunday, April 7, at the 10 a.m. service.

The church is located at 601 Tiger Creek Road, Roan Mountain.
