A local agriculture teacher is extending an invitation to all community members interested in a unique educational experience – a 10-day tour exploring agriculture in Ireland, slated for May/June 2026. The informational meeting is scheduled for April 18 at 6 p.m., taking place in the Elizabethton High School Commons.

Organized in collaboration with EF Tours, known for their educational travel programs, this tour aims to provide participants with an in-depth look at Ireland’s agricultural practices, innovations, and landscapes.

“The tour is an excellent opportunity for students and community members alike to broaden their horizons and gain insights into global agricultural practices,” said Jerry Agan, the tour’s coordinator. “We are excited to offer this kind of immersive learning experience that goes beyond traditional classroom walls.”
