The Carter County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in finding a missing person.

Edward Elliott, 64, was last seen in the Roan Mountain area in either late January or early February. He was reported missing to the Carter County Sheriff’s Office late Sunday night by a family member. Mr. Elliott is approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs approximately 250 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a t-shirt with cut off sleeves. Mr. Elliott suffers from a medical condition that may impair his ability to return safely without assistance.
