Valley Forge Christian

A spring revival will be held April 7-10 at the Valley Forge Christian Church, with services Sunday at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., and Monday through Wednesday at 7 p.m.

The theme of the revival is “Blessed Abundantly” with Ken Overdorf, minister of Range Christian Church, as evangelist.

The minister at Valley Forge Christian is Dr. David Tysinger.

 

First Presbyterian

First Presbyterian Church Elizabethton will have both an online and live worship service Sunday at 11 a.m.

The pastor, the Rev. Dr. Brian Wyatt, will present the sermon “The Cannon or the Egg” based on the scripture from Luke 24: 13-31.

Dr. David Roane will lead the Adult Forum Discussion at 9:45 a.m. in Martin Hall.

The church will also sponsor a free workshop on April 28 from 2 to 5 p.m. on “AI and Religion” by Appalachian State Professor Dr. Randall Reed.

First Presbyterian is located at 119 West F St.

The public is invited to the worship services.

 

First Christian

First Christian Church will have worship Sunday at 9:45 a.m. Bible study is Wednesday at 6 p.m.

First Christian also has a food pantry. Persons needing a food box can call the church office at 542-5651 to make an appointment.

The church is located at 513 Hattie Ave.

Michael Klaus is minister.

 

Elizabethton Church of Christ

A gospel meeting will be held at Elizabethton Church of Christ April 7-11.

Services on Sunday, April 7, will include Sunday School at 10 a.m., morning worship at 11 a.m., and evening worship at 6:30 p.m. Services Monday through Thursday will be at 7 p.m.

The guest speaker for the meeting will be Steve Higginbotham.

The church is located at 137 East C St.
