Citizens Bank names Aaron Brooks Chief Credit Officer

Citizens Bank is proud to announce the promotion of Aaron Brooks to the valued position of Chief Credit Officer. In his new role, Brooks will lead the bank’s credit risk management efforts, overseeing credit underwriting, portfolio management, and ensuring adherence to lending policies and regulations.

Brooks joined Citizens Bank in 2019 as senior vice president of Commercial Banking, bringing with him extensive commercial lending expertise and a comprehensive knowledge of credit underwriting. Throughout his career, he has held various roles including consumer lender, branch manager, and commercial portfolio manager in the Tri-Cities and Knoxville area.

Aaron completed his bachelor’s degree in finance at the University of Tennessee in 1992, and in 2000 he graduated from LSU’s Graduate School of Banking. He resides in Bristol with his wife, Allison, and their two children, Gracie and Landon.
