Blue Springs Christian

Blue Springs Christian Church will host a fundraising lunch on April 21 following the morning service for Wayne Singleton, husband of Angie Harding Singleton and son-in-law of Grant Hardin.

The  lunch, which will be held in the fellowship hall, will help with medical expenses for Singleton.

The lunch is for donations only. Take out lunches will be available.

Everyone is invited.

The church is located on Don Rominger Road in Blue Springs.

First Presbyterian

First Presbyterian Church, Elizabetthon, will have both a live and online worship service Sunday at 11 a.m.

The Rev. Dr. Robert Lowry will be guest speaker for the service. His sermon “You May As Well Try and Kiss Your Own Elbow” is based on Romans 13: 1-4, and 11-15.

Meditation is Wednesday at 7 p.m. and Adult Forum is at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday in Martin Hall.

First Presbyterian is located at 119 West F St.

First Christian Church Elizabethton will have worship at 9:45 a.m. Sunday. Bible Study is at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

First Christian has a food pantry. Persons needing a food box can call the church office at 542-5651 to make an appointment.

VF House of Prayer

An ordination service for Timothy Simerly will be held Sunday, April 14, at 6 p.m. at the Valley Forge House of Prayer.

Light refreshments will be served following the service.

The public is invited.

 

East Side Free Will

The Rogers Family will be in concert April 18 at 7 p.m. at East Side Free Will Baptist Church.
