• Monday, April 29

The spring concert of the Elizabethton Choral Club will be presented at 7:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, 212 East F St. The 28-voice choir, under the direction of Debbie Gouge, will present a varied program of choral music, including an Irving Berlin medley.

Susan Heaton, pianist for the choir, will team with Scott Reynolds, pianist, for some interesting piano duets. The public is invited to this free concert.

TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) will meet at First Baptist Church, 212 East F St., Elizabethton. Weigh-in begins at 5:30-6:30 p.m. with the meeting starting at 6:45 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend these meetings.
