The John Sevier VFW Post 2108 in Johnson City is holding a golf scramble on Friday, May 24, in recognition of National Poppy Day centered on the Memorial Day weekend.

The event will be held at Pine Oaks Golf Course in Johnson City with registration beginning at 8 a.m. and a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Cost is $65 per player/$260 for a team of 4. Sponsorships are available. There will be competitions, prizes and more.
