Star reporter Ron Marvel spent Saturday immersed in the sights and sounds of Elizabethton Carter County Youth Baseball. Against the backdrop of a sunny, warm spring day, children ages 6 to 12 showcased their skills on the field.

The ECC board has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to enhancing the fields this year, ensuring the best possible experience for both boys and girls during this baseball season.

Association President Andy Hilton commented on the season’s progress, stating, “So far this season, we are experiencing great success in our youth baseball and softball program. We couldn’t be more thrilled with our current momentum. Parents have played an incredible role in supporting their children and other young athletes, contributing to the overall success of the league. Equipped with top-of-the-line gear and improved fields, our athletes are thriving. The board of the Elizabethton Carter County Youth Baseball and Softball Association extends heartfelt gratitude to every parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, and family member for their generosity and support. None of this would be possible without them. On behalf of 618 youth athletes, we say thank you!”
