Schedule of activities at the Elizabethton Senior Center, 428 East G Street, for the week of Monday, May 6 – Friday, May 10:

Hours: Monday – Thursday: 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.; Friday: 8 a.m. – 12 noon.

The billiard room and fitness room are open and no appointments are necessary.

Monday: Just Keep Movin’ – Cardio – Toning – Strength Building – Group Led, 9 a.m.; Lunch – Salisbury Steak, 11 a.m.; Chair Yoga – Yoga Farm Instructor Shirley Gomillian, $3, 12:15 p.m.; Gentle Flow Yoga – Yoga Farm Instructor Cindy Brugnoletti, $3, 1:30 p.m.

Tuesday: Senior Center Closed. All Staff will be attending the Aging Conference. No Meals Served.

Wednesday: Just Keep Movin’ – Cardio – Toning – Strength Building – Group Led, 9 a.m.; Medicare Seminar – Provided by Mid-South Financial Group – Please sign up, 9:30 a.m.; Lunch – Breaded Fish w/Tartar Sauce, 11 a.m.; Chair Yoga – Yoga Farm Instructor Shirley Gomillian, $3, 12:15 p.m.; Gentle Flow Yoga – Yoga Farm Instructor Cindy Brugnoletti, $3, 1:30 p.m.

Thursday: Lunch – Chicken Salad,11 a.m.; Vet – 2 – Vet Café – 1 to 2 p.m: Special Speaker: Allen Jackson, USAF, Retired. Allen will share stories and history lessons from his years of researching historical documents as a historian for JC/WC Veterans Memorial Foundation; East TN Veterans Memorial; Tri-Cities Military Affairs Council; American Legion Post 24; Disabled American Veterans Chapter 9; Director/Historian, Jonesborough Genealogical Society.

Friday: Just Keep Movin’ – Cardio – Toning – Strength Building – Group Led, 9 a.m.; Let’s Play Bingo – Special Guest, Christian Assisted Living, 10 a.m.; 10 a.m.; Lunch – BBQ Pork Riblet, 11 a.m.

REMINDER: Street signs with reflective numbers are still available at the Center for a cost of $5. These are provided at this discount price through our SALT Council.
