Carson Peters and Iron Mountain will kick off the Summer Concert Series at Roan Mountain State Park on Friday, May 17, at 7 p.m. 

Carson Peters and Iron Mountain, signed to Billy Blue Records, has quickly become one of the most energetic and hottest traditional bluegrass bands in the business. They have made numerous trips to the Grand Ole Opry, multiple international appearances, and have had countless songs on the bluegrass and bluegrass gospel charts.

Concerts take place at the park amphitheater at 7 p.m. on Fridays. Bring a blanket, camp chair or enjoy the park’s bench seating. Concerts are free but tips for the artists are appreciated.
