Roan Street Free Will

The Montgomery Family will present special singing Sunday at the Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church. The service will begin at 11 a.m.

The pastor, the Rev. Donnie Harris, invites the public to attend.

New Liberty Free Will

New Liberty Free Will Baptist Church will have Bible School beginning Sunday, May 19, and continuing through Wednesday, May 22, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. each day.

The theme is “What A Mess – VBS” and will include classes and activities for all ages, nursery through Adults.

Director Julie Greer and Pastor Wesley Duncan invite all to attend.

The church is located at 113 Peters Hollow Road near the Stoney Creek Volunteer Fire Department.

 

First Christian

First Christian Church Elizabethton has worship at 9:45 a.m. Sunday. Currently, the study follows the book “Cost” by Mike Baker.

There is also Bible study for adults, youth, and kids on Wednesday at 6 p.m.

First Christian has a food pantry. Persons needing a food box are asked to call the church office at 542-5651 to make an appointment.

First Christian is located at 513 Hattie Ave. Michael Klaus is minister.

 

Grace Baptist

Grace Baptist Church will recognize high school and college graduates at the 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. service Sunday, May 19.

Vacation Bible School will be held June 2-6 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. each evening. There will be classes for children, age three through the eighth grade.

Food will be served nightly for children and VBS volunteers.

“Jungle Journey ” is the theme of the Bible School.

 

Fork Mountain Free Will

Revival will begin today at Fork Mountain Free Will Baptist Church, Roan Mountain. The revival will continue through May 22 with services Sunday at 6 p.m. and Monday through Wednesday at 7 p.m.

The evangelist will be the Rev. Frank Woods. Special singing will be presented nightly.

The Rev. Charlie Trivette, pastor, invites everyone to attend.

The church is located at 270 Fork Mountain Road.

 

Range Community 

Friend Day will be observed Sunday at the Range Community Christian Church. The service will begin at 9:30 a.m., and everyone is invited to come and bring a friend.

The church is located at 175 Hart Road.

Ken Overdorf is minister.

 

First Presbyterian

First Presbyterian Church Elizabethton will have both an in-person and online service Sunday at 11 a.m.

The pastor, the Rev. Dr. Bryan Wyatt, will present the sermon “Escape the Inferno” based on Acts 16: 16-34.

Meditation is Wednesday at 7 p.m. and Adult Forum is Sunday at 9:30 a.m. in Martin Hall.

The church is located at 119 West F St., and everyone is invited.
